Carmen and Eef are the two nurses at Artemedis. They both have many years of experience as theatre nurses in general hospitals.
The demands on a nurse in a private practice should not be underestimated. Their work requires a high level of flexibility and insight and they are responsible for a wide range of activities: preparing the operating theatre, assisting both the anaesthetist and the surgeon, cleaning and sterilising instruments, welcoming patients and their relatives/friends, making beds, maintaining stocks of medication and equipment, etc.
At Artemedis we consider ourselves fortunate to be able to count on two nurses who do all these things with consistent professionalism while still continuing to focus on the human side of their work.
